More than just a camp

Camp CommUnity (CU) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that believes all children should be afforded the opportunity to succeed in life beyond the classroom— no matter what. So, when school’s out, we kick in to make sure every student has access to high-quality, enriching, and FUN programs ranging from after-school classes to summer camp. And the best part— we can’t wait to CU THERE!

WHAT WE OFFER

Our catalog of immersive, hands-on camps are available during the summer, winter, and spring breaks for students in K-8th grade.

From weekly after-school classes to stand-alone workshops, CU has something for every learner.

It’s no secret that community is at the heart of CU and we love building it through regular family engagement activities and community events.

OUR IMPACT

At Camp CommUnity, we're not just committed to equipping children with the tools they need to succeed in life, we're invested.

Our high-quality, high-impact program is open to ALL students and is provided free of charge to families facing systemic barriers to ensure every child has equal access and opportunity, regardless of their ability to pay. In 2022-2023, 71% of the families we worked with were below the federal poverty line, 59% were minorities, 44% lived in a single-parent household, and 63% had a learning disability.

Every kid deserves a chance to attend a camp like this.
